About us

Head-to-head comparisons. Two or three products, one winner, and the reasons. Every comparison covers the price you'll actually pay, what goes wrong, who each product suits, and a straight verdict.

Ranked lists. Graphics cards, RAM, SSDs and more, ordered by what you get for your money at today's prices. Filter by budget, brand or spec, and see what the same thing goes for second-hand.

New and used side by side. Every ranked product shows the Amazon UK price next to live used listings on eBay UK. When new prices spike, as they have for memory and graphics cards this year, used can save you hundreds.

Price alerts. Hit "Watch price" on any product, set the price you'd pay, and we'll email you when it drops to it, new or used. One confirmation email, then nothing until the price moves.

We read the manufacturer specs, the owner reviews and complaints, and the UK price history, then rank on value for the job: what a product does for you, divided by what it costs this week. Popularity counts too. If thousands of UK buyers chose something this month, we say so, and we say when they overpaid.

We don't run a test lab and we won't pretend to. When a verdict rests on someone else's measurements, the comparison says so. The full process is on how we pick.

New prices come from Amazon UK. Used prices come from live Buy It Now listings on eBay UK, filtered to remove spares, empty boxes and bundles. Each list shows when prices were last checked. Prices change daily, so always confirm on the retailer's page before you buy.

When you buy through our links, Amazon, eBay and other retailers pay us a small commission. It costs you nothing extra. Commission never decides a ranking, and we'll happily tell you not to buy something.

Brands can advertise with us, always clearly labelled, never inside a ranking. See advertise and brands. Full details are in our disclosure.
