Coil grips that stretch over normal shoes and boots, the easiest kind to put on for icy pavements and the school run. The listing quotes 1.4mm stainless steel coils on a rubber frame with a removable over-foot strap that stops it rolling off. It says they resist breaking down to minus 41 degrees without saying Celsius or Fahrenheit, and coils grip less than spikes on hard, clear ice.
