Best simple AAA torch
A plain battery-powered Ledlenser with a focusable beam and a dimmer on the battery box, suited to the car, the shed and power cuts. The listing quotes 120 lumens, a 100m beam and up to 60 hours. That is well short of what you want for dark runs, and 133g is heavy for the output. See it against the rest of the best head torches →
