Best science kit
Volcanoes, slime and a rocket are the right sort of science at eight: messy, loud and easy to show off. Galt's kit has eight experiments and is part of the Horrible Science range based on the Nick Arnold books. Eight experiments go quickly, so set it up at the kitchen table with an adult nearby and make an afternoon of it. See it against the rest of Gifts for 8 year old boys →
