Best for most people
A 400 lumen rechargeable head torch from a climbing brand, right in the sweet spot for dark runs and dog walks. The title quotes dimmable output, micro-USB charging and a waterproof, compact body, but the listing gives little else. It uses the older micro-USB plug and states no run time, and only the AAA version of the Spot 400 mentions a red night-vision mode in its listing. See it against the rest of the best head torches →
